It all started with this question, during a lunch break at a training course: The idea of a shared practice.
Dr. Peter Getz and Karin Joschko – both dentists with heart and soul – got along immediately and laid the foundation for a trusting collaboration within just a few minutes. They founded ZAN<sup>H</sup> – the Berlin neighbourhood practice with character, which welcomes adult patients with warmth and genuine “down-to-earth” expertise.
The idea of ZANH took concrete shape in January 2018. The collaboration between Karin Joschko, who had previously run the practice on her own since 1989, and Dr. Peter Getz underwent concrete planning. They used the year to develop a shared vision as a treatment team and prepare extensive modernization measures for the practice. These renovations were needed to make the practice ready for the 21st century, and provide the team with optimum support.
In March 2019 it was time – ZANH opened its doors. Since then the practice has grown, always with a clear focus on what is important to our patients.
At the end of 2024, Karin decided to step down as the joint proprietor, but remained with us as a practitioner. Dr. Peter Getz took the opportunity to expand the back end of the practice. Following renovations which were carried out from January to March 2025, there are now new rooms: a prophylaxis lounge, a meeting room, a practice laboratory with a 3D printer, and more. The kitchen, changing room and storage room were also completely redesigned.
Since April 2025, we have been supported by Anna Vermul, a friendly assistant dentist who has fitted in perfectly with our practice with her empathetic approach and her way of dealing with patients.
